Join us for a Hedge School-style day of cultural exploration, conversation and kinship - ag cíoradh cúrsaí cultúrtha, ag caint agus ag comhrá.

Bealtaine: Returning to our Senses is a learning experience that weaves creativity, heritage, language, folklore and indigenous wisdom with individual, social and ecological wellbeing. This day is open to Gaeilge enthusiasts of all levels from absolute beginners to advanced speakers and for people who are simply curious about Irish culture. The day's programme includes bilingual workshops, conversation circles, a film screening, music and poetry. We will host a special Hedge School immersive closing event with Kathy Scott (cultural activist, host, writer), Brian Crosby (composer, musician, BellX1) and special guests inspired by the ancient Irish tradition of the immram or wonder-voyage. We will also be joined by Leah Song (singer-songwriter, multi-instrumental musician, storyteller, poet, artist, and activist known for her role as one of the two frontsisters of Rising Appalachia) and Lily Henley for a very special gig to close out the day.
