The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2021. This is an invitation for women who are ready to harness their inner power and reclaim their wild feminine nature. Our mission is to support women to rise and lift each other up along the way. Thank you for answering the call and walking this path with us.
As we navigate global uncertainty, The Trailblazery are hosting a series of curated online experiences for women who need inspiration, encouragement and connection in the times ahead.
Moon Medicine is a circle that keeps on giving and we have hosted incredible women from over the world for our online Moon Medicine gatherings. As women and sisters, as mothers, daughters and granddaughters - this is the time to celebrate our feminine creative life force and midwife a future that serves all beings.
At Moon Medicine we are here to empower and elevate women from all walks of life. Everyone is welcome. We will open space for you to bring whatever is alive for you and together we will explore how we can be of service to ourselves , each other and our world in these challenging times.
On Monday, April 26 at 7pm, the Moon Medicine online series hosts soul sisters Siobhán Moore (Ajeet) and Aisling Urwin aka Woven Kin for Lullaby : Suantraí - a special live listening experience.
As we prepare to enter the portal of Bealtaine in the Celtic Wisdom Tradition, Lullaby : Suantraí invites you to drop deep into a dreamworld of sensorial delight. We will travel through time and space with some restorative yoga nidra practices and land in a deep sonic soundscape gently guided and performed by Siobhan and Ash. This circle asks you to make a ‘nest’, bring warm blankets, woolly socks, oils, headphones and other creature comforts so that you can rest and receive their beautiful debut album ‘Hibernate’ and other sensory surprises. This is an opportunity to pause within the pause and enter time out of time , what TS Eliot called the ‘still point of the turning world’ .
Woven Kin weave a world of harmonic dreamscapes and ethereal journeys, that encompass both the folk tradition and new ground. Their debut album ‘Hibernate’ was largely created during the surreal months of 2020, a year of hibernation and solitude for many. It brings together lilting harmonies with delicately woven dreamscapes. The first track of the album, ‘Hibernate’, invites you into a dark, dreamlike space where you journey until the final track of the album, ‘Morning Song’, which draws the listener back to wakefulness. There’s a gentleness to the sound, but also a grounded earthy depth to the organic instrumentation. Folk instruments such as the Irish harp, bodhrán, bouzouki, banjo and the mandolin feature heavily throughout, along with percussive beats, big basslines and electronic textures. The duo gives space to their roots in traditional Irish music, while drawing from their personal love of contemporary folk and electronic music.

About Siobhán (aka Ajeet) :
Siobhán Moore is a multi-instrumentalist, music producer and songwriter from the mountains of New Hampshire, USA. With a degree in Holistic Psychology and as a yoga teacher, she is interested in music as a source of healing and connection. She is widely known as the world music artist “Ajeet”, weaving together her background in Irish folk with the mystical and meditative soundscapes of traditional instrumentation from around the world woven into electronic hypnotic textures. She is also a member of the duo “Woven Kin” with Co. Kerry harpist Aisling Urwin, featuring close harmonies and Irish instrumentation. Siobhán’s music has been featured multiple times at #1 on the iTunes World Music Chart and Billboard Top 10 New Age Chart. About Aisling:
Aisling Urwin is a harper-songwriter-teacher from Kenmare in South Kerry.
With a background in Irish traditional music, Aisling strives to paint the harp in new colours, challenging traditional views in an effort to stretch people's preconceptions of what the harp should sound like, taking it into new sonic spaces.
Since completing a degree in Music in UCC in 2015, Aisling has been working within the world of music, holding Music & Meditation events, teaching Irish Trad and contemporary harp to a new generation of harpers and touring with multiple groups within the Trad, World Music and Folk realms. Aisling’s deepest love is in composing, songwriting and the creative process as well as in an ever-flowing exploration of the harp and a delving into all this magic instrument has to offer.
Kathy Scott, Founder and Creative Director of The Trailblazery shares:
“I am completely ‘over the moon’ to welcome Siobhán and Aisling to our circle as guest luminaries. They are kindred spirits, part of our Moon Medicine family and now come to share their extraordinary gifts as Woven Kin. When I first listened to ‘Hibernate’, my world moved and I have been slowly distilling her beauty ever since. Our intention is for you all to receive the deep medicine and kinship of this beautiful collaboration. We have come together to create an listening experience where you can listen uninterrupted, feel unhindered and drop into the magical landscape of this stunning album. Welcome to this sonic sleepover for the soul”
About Moon Medicine
Moon Medicine was initiated by The Trailblazery {Hedge School, Census of the Heart, We Need to Talk About Ireland, Rites of Passage} in 2018 in the light of Repeal and the rising momentum of women worldwide speaking out, stepping up and reclaiming their power. Our mission is to help women to remember, embody and reclaim their authentic powerful selves so that together we can rise and lift each other up along the way. In 2019 the Moon Medicine Global Academy was launched - a year-long online training programme for women which expanded our Moon Medicine circle to include women all over the world.
Our live Moon Medicine gatherings weave together a range of feminine teachings blending ancient wisdom with cutting edge developments in the fields of epigenetics, quantum physics and neuroscience. We explore the gifts of the lunar cycle as a map of empowerment for women’s wellbeing. We draw from a deep well to find practices and resources that support women’s self care and the care of this place we call home. To find out more visit TheTrailblazery.com

Kathy Scott has been traveling the world as a passionate student and brave pioneer of practices that bring people into intimate contact with their creativity and power. As a teacher, she beautifully weaves together all that she has gathered into a rich and generous offering. This is a deeply nourishing and powerful brew, especially for women.

Kathy Scott creates an utterly transcendent yoga experience. I attended her recent Rising Feminine Medicine Yoga Programme and it exceeded any expectations that I might have had on a mental, emotional, energetic and deeply feminine level. Her classes are packed full of wisdom, kindness, practical yoga asanas and meditative exercises that flowed off the mat with me and seamlessly threaded into my days for the rest of the week. Kathy elegantly weaves a powerful depth and breath of experience into all of her classes. Such a restorative weekly tonic. I couldn't recommend her more highly.
