The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2024. As we navigate global uncertainty, we host a series of curated online experiences for women who need inspiration, encouragement and connection in the times ahead.

You are invited to gather with us online on Monday June 17 at 7pm (2pm EST / 11am PST) for a special Moon Medicine gathering entitled “Discovering the Inner Mother”.

Our guest luminary for the evening will be author and expert on healing the “Mother Wound Bethany Webster.

As a coach, speaker & writer, Bethany is dedicated to guiding women to uncover the wounded children within and teach them how to embody a loving “inner mother” to those parts of us that need it most. Through the practice of “inner mothering,” an inner climate of trust, unconditional love and emotional safety can be gently cultivated over time, gradually making it easier to unapologetically step into one’s life purpose, authentic truth and deeper integrity.

This June Full Moon is a Strawberry Moon and will shine at peak illumination on Friday, June 21, 2024 just in time for the Summer Solstice.

This Full Moon is in the archetypal sign of Capricorn and is represented by the sea goat - purposeful initiator & accomplisher of external achievement. We will be in the season of Cancer - representing the great mother emotional, intuitive and internally attuned. May we dance with and embody the potency of these opposing forces.

This online event will be hosted by Kathy Scott, Founder of Moon Medicine & The Trailblazery.

Note: If you can’t attend the call live, it will be recorded and sent to you by email within 24 hours.

Kathy Scott shares:

“I am over the moon to invite Bethany Webster to our Moon Medicine circle. In early 2014 she published an article entitled “Why it's Crucial for Women to Heal the Mother Wound” - it went viral and caught my attention. Through blending cutting-edge research on intergenerational trauma, feminist theory, and psychology with her own personal story, Bethany’s work is the result of decades of research and her own journey of healing. Her work has been a huge source of healing for me personally and hundreds of women I have walked this path with. It is a dream come true to host Bethany at Moon Medicine. She is a true trailblazer and midwife of the heart.

Join us and tell your sisters.”

About Bethany

Kathy Scott creates an utterly transcendent yoga experience.  I attended her recent Rising Feminine Medicine Yoga Programme and it exceeded any expectations that I might have had on a mental, emotional, energetic and deeply feminine level.  Her classes are packed full of wisdom, kindness, practical yoga asanas and meditative exercises that flowed off the mat with me and seamlessly threaded into my days for the rest of the week.  Kathy elegantly weaves a powerful depth and breath of experience into all of her classes. Such a restorative weekly tonic.  I couldn't recommend her more highly.

☾✩☽

The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2024. As we navigate global uncertainty, we host a series of curated online experiences for women who need inspiration, encouragement and connection in the times ahead.

You are invited to gather with us online on Monday March 18 at 7pm (3pm EST / 12pm PST) for a special Moon Medicine gathering entitled “Rise Síle Rise”, to mark and honour a forgotten woman in Irish history.

This event is a fundraiser organised in support of the Nabhan family to help them relocate from Rafah to Egypt. To join this gathering, we ask that you purchase a ticket as a donation which will go towards this cause.

We will gather on Lá Fhéile Síle - Sheela’s Day to reclaim the story of Síle and the powerful archaeological manifestation that bears her name - Síle-na-gig

Celebrating St. Sheela’s Day was an old Irish, pre-Famine tradition. Her feast day coincides with the Spring equinox and Sheela embodies the cycle of fertility, which covers natural, agricultural and human procreation and death. These deep roots in the cycle of creation bring us back to the Sheela-na-gig Herself. Ireland has more than 100 examples of these often-misunderstood medieval stone carvings. The women in them, who are reclining or squatting, often have big ears, long hair, gritted teeth, emaciated ribs and prominent breasts. They are beautiful and fierce in equal measures.

Our guest luminaries for the evening will be Áine Tyrrell, Dee Mulrooney, Laura Murphy and host Kathy Scott.  Like most of you, these four women have navigated hard times personally and politically in recent years, and have supported each other through thick and thin. They are coming together for this Moon Medicine special to honour Síle and celebrate all mná so that together we can RISE and lift each other up along the way.

The March Full Moon is in the archetypal sign of Libra ruled by Venus, the Goddess of Love and Collective Expression. It is also a south node lunar eclipse.

This full moon illuminates themes of balance, partnership, beauty and harmony.

This is also the Full Moon before the Holy days of Easter and holds the resonance of Resurrection and the liberation experienced when you rise from the ashes.

If there was a mantra for this Full Moon it would be - We are all in this together.

In the Irish Druidic tradition the year consists of thirteen lunar months, representing the cycles of the moon. And each lunar month was linked to one of the sacred trees. From there, the druids derived a Shamanic alphabet, known as the Ogham. Each tree sign has an Ogham letter symbol, and for this full moon we will be in the season of the Alder. Those born under the Alder sign are natural pathfinders. They have the ability to move people and quickly gain followers to their cause. At this time of year, orange-red sap rises up inside the Alder tree, the blood rising before battle. Alder represents the balancing of light and dark; the momentum is soon to reach its apex at the Spring Equinox.

This online event will be hosted by Kathy Scott, Founder of Moon Medicine & The Trailblazery.

Note: If you can’t attend the call live, it will be recorded and sent to you by email within 24 hours.

Kathy Scott shares:

“I am over the moon  to invite these three extraordinary Mná feasa to our Moon Medicine circle. I met Dee in 2013 through our mutual sister Nina Hynes and we never looked back, I love her truly, madly, deeply. I am so honoured that we hosted Ireland’s national treasure Growler live at Moon Medicine  in 2019 - her first public engagement. All hail Growler.

My path crossed with Laura in 2018 (in this lifetime) and it immediately became crystal clear that we were soul sisters . We share a love of the mystery and the midlands in equal measure. I am delighted to call her Anam Cara.

Áine is a powerful pirate queen. We met online many moons ago through Saoirse Connelly. Her commitment to truth and liberation knows no end. She is a powerful force of nature and her music is a clarion call to action for all.”

About Áine

Áine Tyrrell is an inspiring and thought-provoking multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and unmissable live act, she graces stages globally – from Woodford Folk Festival, to Shrewsbury Folk Festival in the UK to Clonakilty International Guitar Festival in Ireland, International Folk Alliance in the USA, and the coveted Splendour in the Grass.

In 2021, the significance of Áine’s impact was underscored when she was chosen to join the Irish President, Michael D O’Higgins, and his wife Sabine in a tribute celebrating the valour and artistry of Irish women. Áine's commitment to connecting with her audience is evident. Celebrating 270 Virtual Cuppa Teas (online performances) and fostering a thriving community in Patreon over the last 3 years.

She was rightfully acknowledged as one of the top 10 musical creators by The Australian Newspaper in 2021 and acclaim has followed her from both Australian and Irish radio circuits with notable features on ABC Radio, RTE Radio, Double J Radio, and BBC NI Music. Her chart-topping presence on Ireland’s RTE’s Independent Music Charts speaks volumes about her resonance in the musical landscape.

Having completed the first round of her successful "Irish As F*ck" tour, the excitement doesn't stop, as the next leg is set to resume late this year and spill into 2024.

Beyond being an esteemed performer, Áine was recently listed as an International Best-Selling Author with her contribution towards “Rebel Ma: Rising In The Time Of The Feminine" and has been turning heads with her sold-out shows with the Country Witches Association.

Presently, Áine is amidst recording her third album, collaborating with renowned producer DOBBY, and fans eagerly await its launch set for 2024.

Her journey, as put by The Australian, is indeed one worth following, "Tyrrell's incredible journey is one you'd be well advised to follow.” With an unmistakably voice and an energy that’s both electric and intimate, Áine Tyrrell continues to spellbind her audience, making them fall in love with her sound, time and time again.

About Dee

Dee Mulrooney is a multi-disciplinary Irish artist. Inhabiting a female body and all that it entails is the main preoccupation of her work. Exile, class, displacement, social history, longing and belonging are some of the themes explored by Dee through various media including painting, drawing, film, storytelling, and performance. Her art is fiercely authentic, and she leaves no stone of her own personal healing journey unturned. Dee works with the alchemical aspect of transmutation in her art, using this process to deal with difficult topics, including abuse, death and loss.

Since the rise of the Me-Too movement, the female voice has been gathering momentum and power. Despite the universality of the female experience as a theme in art, it has been largely underexplored. Within this context, Dee’s performance art is provocative and has a political point to make, highly social, collaborative and community building. She is driven by story and symbolism, how we remember and interpret history and women's role and their bodies within that.

Growler is Dee Mulrooney’s alter-ego and performance piece. She is an 82-year-old drum banging shamanic vulva living in exile. Using the vehicle of Growler, Dee delves into the depths of woman. The anonymity of the costume allows Growler to speak her mind on taboo topics like sexuality, religion and sexual violence.

About Laura

Laura Murphy is a poet, healer and activist who works in the ancient Irish poetic tradition of Imbas Forosnai. The Filí (Seer-Poets) of pre-Christian Ireland used this practice to bring wisdom into their beings, truth to power and healing to society. Though Imbas Forosnai was central to how ancient Irish society functioned and flourished, it was banned by St. Patrick and all but written out of history. Since having a spontaneous experience of Imbas Forosnai in 2013, Laura has been working towards revivifying this practice within a culturally relevant, modern context. Laura’s Imbas-infused work has been featured in the Abbey Theatre’s critically acclaimed ‘HOME: Part One’, Herstory Light Shows, TG4’s ‘Imeall’, RTÉ documentary ‘Finding Brigid’ and read in Dáil Éireann. Laura was the inaugural Poet in Residence at Herstory, the movement illuminating female role-models, she campaigned to make Brigid’s Day a national holiday and is an advocate for Palestine, Ireland’s Mother and Baby Home and Magdalene Laundry survivors.

Our live Moon Medicine gatherings weave together a range of feminine teachings blending ancient wisdom with cutting edge developments in the fields of epigenetics, quantum physics and neuroscience. We explore the gifts of the lunar cycle as a map of empowerment for women’s wellbeing. We draw from a deep well to find practices and resources that support women’s self care and the care of this place we call home. To find out more visit TheTrailblazery.com

As a teacher, she beautifully weaves together all that she has gathered into a rich and generous offering. This is a deeply nourishing and powerful brew, especially for women

Annie Ryan, Artistic Director Corn Exchange

Remember to find the Lighthouses
— Caoimhe Butterly

☾✩☽

The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2024. As we try to bear witness to the unbearable human suffering intensifying and escalating in Palestine we have decided to host a Moon Medicine gathering in solidarity (in dlúthpháirtíocht) and in service. We will gather together in circle to listen and learn, share stories, sing songs, shed tears, seek refuge, rage, rest and everything in between. All are welcome

This will be a free experience offered as a support and resource during these dark and troubling times. In return, we ask that you make a donation. We have designed three donation options to cater to different preferences and financial capabilities. You can choose from tickets starting at €25, a second option at €50, and a third option where you can select your donation amount according to your ability for a more generous contribution. Funds raised will be sent as direct supports to fleeing and displaced families, via trusted friends who have worked on the ground for many years.

As the next Full Moon approaches, we extend our heartfelt invitation to gather with us online on Monday, February 19 at 7pm Irish time (2pm EST/11am PST) for a special Moon Medicine gathering “Keepers of Kinship”. Our intention is to create a space where we can co-sense the intergenerational, intersectional collective trauma that is happening right now in our psyches and in our bodies, on our planet and on our watch. Together we will seek pathways towards collective healing and restoration. Together we will remember that we are the ones we have been waiting for.

This online event will be hosted by Kathy Scott, Founder of The Trailblazery. Our guest luminaries for the evening will be Farah Nabulsi (Filmmaker, Director and Human Rights Advocate), Roisin El Cherif (Irish-Palestinian artist and activist) and Caoimhe Butterly, (Human Rights Campaigner, Psychotherapist and Trauma Worker).

Note: If you can’t attend the call live, it will be recorded and sent to you by email within 24 hours.

Caoimhe Butterly shares:

“In times of us all witnessing - and trying to respond to - so much collective grief and trauma, it is vital to also focus on the lighthouses of hope- on people mobilising across the world to say 'Not In Our Names'. Because even amidst this storm of systematic violence, oppression and so much pain, there are lighthouses signalling clarity, courage and deep care. We need to find them, and be them- to keep the collective, powerful lighthouse of conscience brightly lit.”

The February Full Moon is in the archetypal sign of  Virgo - the Virgin Holy and Whole. This moon is a call to sacred work.

Virgo invites us to stay with the trouble. To pray with it and ritualize it. To see and be in the messiness of life, and embrace it as pure.

Virginia Roenberg

This Full Moon brings revelation through dreams, creative vision, and emphasises the balance and integration of the spiritual and practical dimension of experience. This Moon holds the medicine of the sacred and the profane. In the Irish Druidic tradition this moon is known as the Ash Moon. The ash tree is one of three trees that the pre-Christian Celts held sacred (alongside oak and hawthorn) and according to Norse tradition, Yggdrasil, the “world tree”, was an ash tree from which all life was birthed.

Kathy Scott, Founder and Creative Director of The Trailblazery shares:

“I am honoured to invite these three extraordinary women to our Moon Medicine circle. I met Farah in Palestine when she was filming her Academy Award Nominated and BAFTA Award Winning film The Present. She has been blazing an incredible trail and now her debut feature film The Teacher shot in the West Bank is a powerful exploration of the human condition.

My path first crossed with Caoimhe when I started to visit Palestine and became dedicated to understanding more about healing individual, collective and intergenerational trauma. She is an inspirational activist and educator. I remember reading about her being shot in Palestine when she was just 23. I am delighted to now call her my friend.

Roisin El Charif is a Galway based singer-songwriter and a powerful force of nature. Half Irish and half Palestinian, you can hear both influences in her music. I am grateful to invite her here to share her story and songs with us at this terrible time”

About Farah

Farah Nabulsi is a Palestinian British filmmaker and human rights advocate. She writes, directs and produces creative short films on Palestinian life under occupation. Her work has been screened internationally at film festivals, universities and at the United Nations. Her 2020 film, The Present, underscores the importance of freedom of movement as a basic human right. Farah uses the power of storytelling to share the Palestinian experience with Western audiences. She created Native Liberty, a non-profit production company, through which she produces short films that help others understand and feel what Palestinians experience. She created a digital resource to deconstruct the occupation in a way never done before. Farah has spoken and screened her work internationally at film festivals, universities and at the United Nations. Her novel approach has been endorsed by Noam Chomsky, Hanan Ashrawi, John Pilger, Ken Loach and others.

The Legacy of An Gorta Mór - the Great Famine in Ireland and the Irish Diaspora

A year long lab starting on Jan 16, 2024 | 7pm {Irish time}

I am delighted to announce I will be co-facilitating an international online lab at The Pocket Project as a Cultural Advisor in 2024. This year-long lab is called "The Legacy of the Great Famine in Ireland and the Irish Diaspora".

We will be using my teacher Thomas Hübl's Collective Trauma Integration process which is designed to release and integrate the trauma that is stored both within individuals and within groups of people who share similar trauma patterns in their collective unconscious. This trauma is often hidden, covered over by numbness and stories, yet its symptoms continually show up in our lives today like a ‘ghost in the machine’. This lab will explore what it means to be Irish today, how An Gorta Mór - the famine is still with us, how it shows up in us, and how we can begin to heal and integrate what our ancestors could not. If you’re curious about how the famine affects your ancestry, we invite you to consider joining us.

Participants will be required to have a reflective practice, be familiar with the work of Thomas Hübl and demonstrate a commitment to personal development through trauma-informed psychotherapy or coaching. For more information and/or to sign up, click on this link. Applicants will receive the outcome of their application on Jan 12, 2024.

I look forward to welcoming you there...

The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2023. As we navigate global uncertainty, The Trailblazery hosts a curated series of nourishing online experiences for women who need inspiration, encouragement and connection in the times ahead. This will be a free experience offered as a support and resource during these dark and challenging times.

You are invited to gather with us online on Monday November 27 at 7pm Irish time (2pm EST/11am PST), for a special Moon Medicine gathering, entitled “The Breath of Life”. Our guest luminary for the evening will be breathwork facilitator, teacher trainer and intuitive guide Erin Telford.

As a breathwork and business mentor, Erin is dedicated to facilitating transformative healing experiences through her sessions. She offers training for healers, coaches and conscious leaders and invites them to explore their inner selves, open their hearts and cultivate a harmonious relationship with their own bodies and spirits.

The Full Moon of November is the ‘Beaver Moon' according to the Old Farmer's Almanac. It arrives during the season where beavers retreat to their lodges ahead of the cold weather. This moon is also known as the Frost Moon, because of its timing with the first hard frost of the year. In the Irish Druidic tradition this moon is known as the Reed Moon and symbolises the dark side of the psyche, mysteries of death and keeper of secrets. It is represented in Ogham as Ngetal, representing letters ‘ng’ and meaning protection. While full moons typically prompt action, this moon echoes the importance of slowing down and turning inwards ahead of the fast-approaching winter season.

This online event will be hosted by Kathy Scott, Founder of The Trailblazery and will also feature Polish intuitive singer Sandra Maria.

Note: If you can’t attend the call live, it will be recorded and sent to you by email within 24 hours.

Kathy Scott, Founder and Creative Director of The Trailblazery shares:

“I am completely over the moon to welcome Erin to our Moon Medicine circle. Our paths have continued to cross over the years and now our stars have aligned. Erin is a powerful embodied force of nature and  exceptional breathwork leader. I am thrilled to invite her to share her story, wisdom and gifts with us. Her work is about liberation from conditioning, programs, systems, paradigms, limiting beliefs, and anything that inhibits our ability to be fully expressed and meet life with courage. She says

“The two human responses we usually see in the world when there is a crisis are deep grief and a big heart. They intertwine with our nervous system responses of fight and flight. To stay steady when the world is shaking requires letting your heart break open. When we are broken open, we can stand with what is in front of us with steady feet, straight spine, clear eyes, a bright discerning mind and a brilliant heart.”

Erin’s stunning body of work is beautifully aligned with our mission at Moon Medicine, so I am delighted to host her at our next gathering especially at this time. I am also thrilled to welcome the inspirational Sandra Maria, intuitive singer, teacher and our amazing team member to this circle. We’re looking forward to being back in circle with you, our community, at this challenging time.”

About Erin

Erin Telford is a Breathwork facilitator, teacher trainer, business mentor and intuitive guide. She began her healing career over a decade ago as an acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist and Reiki Master. Her work guides people to look within, open their hearts and heal their relationship with themselves. Her group healing sessions, trainings, retreats and 1:1 guidance support her clients in connecting to their innate wisdom so that they can find the healing and the answers that exist within their own bodies and spirits.  She mentors facilitators, coaches/guides and conscious leaders in evolving and growing their missions, visions and businesses. Self actualization and evolution of our human family are the intention and seed of all of her offerings.

The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2023. As we navigate global uncertainty, we host a series of curated online experiences for women who need inspiration, encouragement and connection in the times ahead.

On Monday September 25 at 7pm Irish time (2pm EST/11am PST),  The Trailblazery Presents Weaving the Mythic Feminine” featuring feminine embodiment coach, mythologist and anthropologist Jen Murphy.

As a coach, mythologist and anthropologist, Jen is dedicated to evolving the Irish mythic feminine through scholarship, the body, and the arts, in service to these times. She offers transformational programmes for women, and through her work, she aims to honour and help reclaim the stories of feminine Celtic archetypes and weave their voices through the threads of time.

The Full Moon of September is the 'Harvest Moon' and is the last 'supermoon' of the year. After the autumnal equinox, when the days are getting shorter and the nights are longer, all life begins to prepare for winter. According to The Old Farmer's Almanac, the harvest moon earned its name because of the moonlight that occurs early in the evenings, leaving farmers with more time to harvest their summer-grown crops under her luminous rays. This Full Moon will  illuminate the tensions between self and other, highlighting the beautiful high art of meeting in the middle, relating, and cooperating.

This special online event will be hosted by Kathy Scott, Founder & Creative Director of The Trailblazery.

Note: If you can’t attend the call live, it will be recorded and sent to you by email within 24 hours.

Kathy Scott, Founder and Creative Director of The Trailblazery shares:

“I am completely over the moon to welcome Jen to our circle. Our stars have continued to cross and align over the years and I am thrilled to host her at this month's Moon Medicine gathering. Jen comes from a lineage of storytellers and wisdom keepers on her maternal line. She is the creator of Celtic Embodiment, a transformational modality that fuses Feminine Embodiment Coaching with her indigenous, Celtic Mythology.  She is a powerful embodied force of nature and I am thrilled to invite her to share her story, wisdom and gifts with us. Her stunning body of work is beautifully aligned with our mission at Moon Medicine, so I am delighted to host her at our next gathering - I can’t wait for you all to deep dive into this territory with us as we welcome in this Aries Full moon.”

The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2023. As we navigate global uncertainty, we host a series of curated online experiences for women who need inspiration, encouragement and connection in the times ahead.

On Monday May 29 at 7pm Irish time (2pm EST/11am PST),  The Trailblazery Presents The Fruits of our Labour” featuring midwife, keener and author Sarah Richardson.

As a teacher, spiritual healer and midwife, Sarah is devoted to  heal and support women through all thresholds, be they spiritual or life’s rites of passage. Her book ‘Woman‘ is in line with her mission and helps guide women towards freeing themselves fully, to live the most incredible life they could ever imagine.

The Full Moon of June is named the Strawberry Moon because it marks the ripening of wild strawberries that are ready to be gathered. According to The Old Farmer’s Almanac, the Algonquin, Ojibwe, Dakota, and Lakota peoples, among others, call this lunation the Strawberry Moon because it rises around the same time the berries are in harvest.

This summer moon reminds us that when we care, nourish and put energy into those seeds we planted earlier in the year, they will  flourish. The Strawberry Full Moon marks a time to bring our mid-year goals to fruition and enjoy the fruits of our labour.

This special online event will be hosted by Kathy Scott, Founder & Creative Director of The Trailblazery, and will also feature Irish musician Jenny Ní Ruiséil.

Note: If you can’t attend the call live, it will be recorded and sent to you by email within 24 hours.

Kathy Scott, Founder and Creative Director of The Trailblazery shares:

“I am completely over the moon to welcome Sarah to our circle. We found each other on the gram. Our stars continued to cross and align and I was delighted to get my hands on a copy of her beautiful book ‘Woman - a guide to living your best life by setting yourself free and coming home to your true nature’ waiting for me at home when I recently returned from my travels. Sarah is a Midwife & Keener - Bean Ghlúine & Bean Chaointe as Ghaeilge. Her work is rooted in the ancient Irish tradition of the Bean Feasa - The ‘Wise Woman’ of the village. She is a great  force of nature and I am thrilled to invite her to share her teachings on feminine leadership in the birth of the new earth.

Jenny Ní Ruiséil is a stunning musician, teacher & writer also bringing her gifts through as Ghaeilge and  I have been delighted and inspired by her for many years.  Sarah’s and Jenny’s gifts are beautifully aligned with our mission at Moon Medicine, so I am delighted to host them both at our next gathering - I can’t wait for you all to deep dive into this territory with us under this Sagittarius  moon.”

About Sarah

Her work is rooted in the ancient Irish tradition of the Bean Feasa - The ‘Wise Woman’ of the village. She is deeply connected to the otherworld of spirit, and weaves between worlds to bring wisdom and healing to all who need it. Whereby she supports & midwives women through all thresholds. She continues to share her medicine through immersive healing retreats & trainings for those wishing to hold sacred space for others. About Jenny

Jenny Ní Ruiséil is an Irish musician, yoga teacher and mentor who teaches and practices traditional tantric hatha yoga. She is also an avid gaeilgeoir and has been involved with various musical endeavours through both Irish and English over the past 13 years, most notably her work with the Irish college-based language group TGLurgan. Since returning to Ireland in 2020, Jenny has been weaving traditional vedic teachings of Sanskrit mantra and Bhakti yoga with the Irish language through song and an ever-deepening connection with the elements. Her music reflects a deeply rooted love for the philosophical teachings of yoga, the land and roots of a heart connection to Irish soil, and the creative, patient and curious nature that only a life lived speaking and exploring the hidden truths in ancient sounds, notes and words can bring. The result is a life lived in service to the heart and inner worlds accessed through meditation, song and mantra.

The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2023. As we navigate global uncertainty, we host a series of curated online experiences for women who need inspiration, encouragement and connection in the times ahead.

On Monday May 1 at 7pm Irish time (2pm EST/11am PST),  The Trailblazery Presents Reclaiming our worth, wealth and wellbeing” featuring life and executive coach, business owner and mindfulness instructor Loretta Kennedy.

As an embodied business & feminine leadership coach, Loretta is devoted to helping women find their true passions and calling in life. She is Ireland's first Trauma of Money practitioner and works holistically with women both through workshops and in a one to one capacity to help them find true clarity, direction and inner fulfillment in life.

May’s Full Flower moon rises in the realm of the Scorpio and is known as one of the most potent full moons of the year.  Scorpio rules power, control, and transformation—it's the mythic phoenix that rises from the ashes of destruction With such an intense lunar moment we call on the grounding sensual nature of Taurus season to help us keep our footing, even if we're feeling emotionally on edge.

Taurus and Scorpio are the signs of the zodiac that embody control and the exchange of control (giving and accepting). The Full Moon in Scorpio lands as  the portal to Bealtaine opens, the ripe midway point between spring and summer in the Northern Hemisphere.

“I am completely over the moon to welcome Loretta to our circle. We have known each other for many years and probably many lifetimes. Our stars continued to cross until we started to pay attention to the cues and the clues and that's where the magic began.

Loretta is a powerFULL feminine force of nature and I am thrilled to invite her to share her teachings on embodied business, feminine leadership and the Trauma of Money. This is a subject very close to my own heart as I have traveled a long distance to unearth my core beliefs around money as an Irish female entrepreneur. Loretta’s body of work is beautifully aligned with our mission at Moon Medicine, so I am delighted to host her at our May gathering. We have had incredible aha moments about money, values, self-worth, embodiment and inherited trauma patterns - I can’t wait for you all to dive into this territory with us under this Scorpio moon”.

About Loretta

The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2023. As we navigate global uncertainty, we host a series of curated online experiences for women who need inspiration, encouragement and connection in the times ahead.

On Monday January 30 at 7pm Irish time (2pm EST/11am PST),  The Trailblazery Presents “Wise Power - Menopause as Initiation” featuring the amazing Alexandra Pope, co-founder of Red School, whose mission is to to activate vitality, creativity and leadership through the magic of menstrual cycle awareness and a conscious menopause.

Together with her Red School co-director Sjanie Hugo Wulitzer, Alexandra has developed a radical new approach to health and wellbeing, creativity, leadership and spiritual life, based on the power of the menstrual cycle. Her latest book Wise Power helps people  to discover the liberating power of menopause to awaken Authority, Purpose and Belonging.

In her conversation with Kathy, Alexandra will unpack the many gifts of menopause and how the preparation for this special time starts in our menstruating years.

With the Sun in Aquarius and the upcoming Full Moon in Leo on Feb 5th, we are called to pay attention to the shimmering brilliance of the mind and the radiant courage of the heart. We are also reminded to observe the need for personal self-expression (Leo) and the need to serve the collective (Aquarius). We are also approaching the portal of Imbolc where we connect with the powers of the great Creatrix and Craftswoman herself Brigid - the exalted one, the fiery arrow.

“I am completely over the moon to welcome Alexandra Pope to our Moon Medicine circle. I first came across her through her  extraordinary book ‘Wild Power’ - if  you haven’t read it then grab a copy immediately! Alexandra empowers women to reconnect and reclaim our cycles and tap into the power of our natural rhythms. Her new book ‘Wise Power’ is a  trailblazing guide to menopause, filled with nourishing wisdom and practical advice. Beautifully aligned with our mission at Moon Medicine, I  am honoured to host her at our first Moon Medicine gathering of 2023. I hope you can join us”.

As a teacher, she beautifully weaves together all that she has gathered into a rich and generous offering. This is a deeply nourishing and powerful brew, especially for women

The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2022. As we navigate global uncertainty, we host a series of curated online experiences for women who need inspiration, encouragement and connection in the times ahead.

On Monday October 3 at 7pm Irish time (2pm EST/11am PST),  The Trailblazery Presents “The Power of Rest and Cyclical Wisdom” featuring writer, yoga therapist, radical yogini and Queen of Nidra, Uma Dinsmore-Tuli.

Uma works internationally and trains specialist teachers in Total Yoga Nidra and Yoni Shakti Well Woman Yoga Therapy for menstrual and menopausal health, pregnancy, birth, and postnatal recovery.

Her practice and teaching respects the cyclical powers of the living earth, and honours human life cycles as spiritual initiations (including menarche, conscious menstruation, menopause, birth and postnatal recovery).

With the Sun in Libra and the upcoming Full Moon in Aries we are reminded to find harmony between individuality and collaboration. We tend to the dance of opposition. We mediate polarity within and without. We feel the pull of roots below and the expanse of the cosmos above. We remember that we are cyclical beings and dance in the space between. A full moon of illumination awaits.

Hosted by Kathy Scott, Founder & Creative Director of The Trailblazery, this special online event will also feature music by Sivani Mata.

Note: If you can’t attend the call live, it will be recorded and sent to you by email within 24 hours.

Kathy Scott, Founder and Creative Director of The Trailblazery shares:

“I am completely over the moon to finally welcome Uma Dinsmore-Tuli to our Moon Medicine circle. I first came across her via her incredible book Yoni Shakti and hugely honour her as a visionary eco-feminist and powerFULL leader of women. I can’t wait to dive into the power of cyclical wisdom with Uma. We will also be joined by the wonderful Sivani Mata. Uma and Sivani are both beautifully aligned with our mission at Moon Medicine which is to support women to rise and lift each other up along the way. We are honoured to host them both at our October gathering. I hope you can join us”.

About Uma Dinsmore-Tuli

Uma met yoga in 1969, at the age of four, and fell in love. She’s been practicing ever since, and teaching yoga since 1994.  A yoga therapist with special expertise in yoga therapy for women’s health, Uma is a mother of three, and has written four books on yoga for women, including the massive Yoni Shakti and two books on Yoga Nidra, including Nidra Shakti, An Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Yoga Nidra. About Moon Medicine

Moon Medicine was initiated by The Trailblazery {Hedge School, Census of the Heart, We Need to Talk About Ireland, Rites of Passage} in 2018 in the light of Repeal and the rising momentum of women worldwide speaking out, stepping up and reclaiming their power. Our mission is to help women to remember, embody and reclaim their authentic powerful selves so that together we can rise and lift each other up along the way. In 2019 the Moon Medicine Global Academy was launched - a year-long online training programme for women which expanded our Moon Medicine circle to include women all over the world.

The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2022. As we navigate global uncertainty, we host a series of curated online experiences for women who need inspiration, encouragement and connection in the times ahead.

On Monday June 13 at 7pm Irish time (2pm EST/11am PST), The Trailblazery presents “The Heroine’s Journey”, featuring London-based embodied psychotherapist, trauma and addiction specialist and yoga and breathwork teacher Carolyn Cowan.

Carolyn is also an Advanced Yoga Instructor with over 10,000 hours of experience. She runs a private psychotherapy practice in London and also a 220 hour Kundalini Global Teacher Training. She is over 30 years clean and sober from drugs and alcohol. Throughout her own journey out of addiction, she has worked endlessly for others to help them move out of suffering and toward a more present experience of themselves.

Joseph Campbell popularized the archetypal Hero’s Journey – a form of narrative structure where the hero goes out into the world, conquers and comes back to claim his victory. Maureen Murdoch then charted the Heroine’s Journey as an alchemical process of transformation. The Heroine’s Journey is a mythical quest forged from going deep down into the soul to heal and reclaim the gifts of the feminine.

We founded Moon Medicine Academy in the wake of #MeToo and #Repeal as an ongoing Heroine’s Journey for women everywhere. We wanted to inspire women to explore their own Heroine’s Journey and lift each other up along the way.

If you can’t attend the call live, it will be recorded and the replay will be sent to you by email within 24 hours.

Kathy Scott, Founder and Creative Director of The Trailblazery shares:

I am completely over the moon to welcome the great heroine Carolyn Cowan to our circle. I first came across her as a yoga teacher and have continued to study with her over the years. She is an incredible spiritual sherpa and has guided so many women through the challenging territory of shame, anxiety, addiction and the female arousal cycle. Beautifully aligned with our mission at Moon Medicine, I am honoured to host her at our June Moon Medicine gathering. I hope you can join us”.

About Carolyn Cowan

Carolyn is an Advanced Yoga Instructor with over 10,000 hours of experience. She runs a 220 hour Kundalini Global Teacher Training and many further trainings that are for both yoga teachers and individuals. The trainings include Altered States: The Breath, Mastering the Addictive Personality, and a new course called The Radically Inclusive Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training. In 2021 she self-published a teacher training manual of 200+ pages, creating a new form of Kundalini Yoga: Kundalini Global. This manual addresses posture through the lens of the vagus nerve, the fascia, breathwork and the anxiety body as it presents on a yoga mat in the 21st century. Since Spring/Summer 2020, she has been offering 30-minute breath classes at 6am on a Monday morning via Zoom and has had 7000 individual bookings over that time, averaging 70 per session. Carolyn has post graduate certificates in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy, Trauma Therapy, Advanced Couples Work, Supervision & Group work and Conflict Resolution.

The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2022. As we navigate global uncertainty, we host a series of curated online experiences for women who need inspiration, encouragement and connection in the times ahead.

On Monday April 11 at 7pm Irish time, The Trailblazery presents “Landscape as Lover”, featuring writer, poet and historical fiction writer Sophie Strand with music by Greta Morgan.

Sophie is a writer based in the Hudson Valley who focuses on the intersection of spirituality, storytelling, and ecology. But it would probably be more authentic to call her a neo-troubadour animist with a propensity to spin yarns that inevitably turn into love stories. Give her a salamander and a stone and she’ll write you a love story. Sophie was raised by house cats, puff balls, possums, raccoons, and an opinionated, crippled goose. In every neighborhood she’s ever lived in she has been known as “the walker”. She believes strongly that all thinking happens interstitially – between beings, ideas, differences, mythical gradients.

Hosted by Kathy Scott, Founder of The Trailblazery, this very special online event will also feature musician, writer and lover of the natural world Greta Morgan.

If you can’t attend the call live, it will be recorded and the replay will be sent to you by email within 24 hours.

Kathy Scott, Founder and Creative Director of The Trailblazery shares:

“I am completely ‘over the moon’ to welcome Sophie & Greta to our circle. Sophie otherwise known as @Cosmogyny on IG is one of my favourite writers on Kinship and Connectivity, Mycelium and Myth, Ecology and Queerness and the decentring of human narratives in a more that human world. I found her on the ‘gram a few years ago and have been in a swirl of inspiration and awe ever since. Sophie has invited the extraordinary one-lady band Greta Morgan to our circle for this Moon Medicine live event and we are thrilled to welcome them both. Beautifully aligned with our mission at Moon Medicine, Sophie and Greta are women supporting women. I am honoured and overjoyed to host these inspirational sisters at our April Moon Medicine. I hope you can join us”.

About Sophie Strand

Sophie Strand is a writer based in the Hudson Valley who focuses on the intersection of spirituality, storytelling, and ecology. Her first book of essays The Flowering Wand: Rewilding the Sacred Masculine will be published by Inner Traditions in Fall 2022 and is available for pre-order. Her eco-feminist historical fiction reimagining of the gospels The Madonna Secret will also be published by Inner Traditions in Spring 2023. Her books of poetry include Love Song to a Blue God (Oread Press) and Those Other Flowers to Come (Dancing Girl Press) and The Approach (The Swan).

Census Of The Heart 2022

Census of the Heart

2022

A free event on March 30 2022 | 7pm {Irish time}

While the national census asks who we are, Census of the Heart wants to know how we are. We want to get straight to the heart of things and explore what really matters to people living in Ireland today. We want to know how you feel at this pivotal moment in time…
— CENSUS OF THE HEART 2016

As the country readies for the State Census 2022, the Census of the Heart team is delighted to announce that Census of the Heart 2016 has found a permanent new home at the National Library of Ireland. To celebrate we are hosting a live event to mark the occasion on Wednesday March 30 at 7pm in advance of Sunday April 03, national census day.

This free event will be a participatory experience. We are inviting people to join us to explore the connections between the data we collect, the national census and our emotional wellbeing. In this age of AI, algorithms and Big Data we want to pay attention to Deep Data and what Brené Brown calls Data with Soul. We are curious to see if what really counts can be counted….

Census of the Heart was an alternative census in Ireland created by Kathy Scott and Mari Kennedy and produced by The Trailblazery in 2016. This alternative online census was a creative response to The National Census of Ireland 2016, coinciding with the precise anniversary of the 1916 Easter Rising.

Census of The Heart is a unique repository of knowledge that holds the intimate hopes, regrets, fears and dreams of almost 12,000 people in Ireland in 2016. We are thrilled to announce that we were invited to donate our ‘collection’ to the National Library of Ireland and it will soon be available for all to explore for posterity.

Acting Director Katherine McSharry adds:

We are delighted to receive this pioneering collection which will share virtual shelf space with our ‘Remembering 1916, Recording 2016’ web archiving project. Our vision at the National Library of Ireland is to share the stories of Ireland with the world, and the digital Census of the Heart collection took the emotional pulse of the nation at a time of commemoration and reflection in 2016. It will support current and future research into life as it was lived and experienced in this country at a significant moment in our history.”

Mari and Kathy will share the story of Census of the Heart and host a conversation with the National Library of Ireland and the Central Statistic’s Office. There will also be space for participants on the call to consider what they might contribute to the new time capsule question in Census 2022.

The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2022. As we navigate global uncertainty, we host a series of curated online experiences for women who need inspiration, encouragement and connection in the times ahead.

On Monday March 14 at 7pm Irish time, The Trailblazery presents “The Rites of Spring”, featuring featuring Dolores Whelan, Laura Murphy and Roo Elizabeth.

Together we will explore the undercurrents of Lá Fhéile Pádraig, from snakes and shamrocks to shillelaghs and other shenanigans and the displacement of the feminine along the way.

We will be nodding to the Triple Goddess Maiden, Mother and Crone, in the form Dolores Whelan author, spiritual guide, healer, way-shower, Laura Murphy, poet and activist and Roo Elizabeth, singer songwriter.

At Moon Medicine, Dolores will share herstory as a rising voice in the world of Celtic spirituality, who has given us a potent understanding of the value of ancient wisdom and the waning traditions of indigenous Ireland.

Hosted by Kathy Scott, Founder of The Trailblazery, this very special online event will also feature poet Laura Murphy and music by Berlin-based singer songwriter Roo Elizabeth.

If you can’t attend the call live, it will be recorded and the replay will be sent to you by email within 24 hours.

Kathy Scott, Founder and Creative Director of The Trailblazery shares:

“I am completely ‘over the moon’ to welcome these three goddesses  to our circle. Dolores is the carrier of the flame of Celtic Spirituality in Ireland and has influenced and encouraged so many of us along the way. She is an unstoppable force of inspiration, mysticism and wisdom. Laura Murphy has been gifting us with ‘imbas forosnai’ in the form of potent poetry, healing and activism. Roo Elizabeth is one of our own and has been an integral part of our family at The Trailblazery - this is her swan song - for now, as we wish her all the best with her musical passions and endeavors.

Beautifully aligned with our mission at Moon Medicine, Dolores, Laura and Roo Elizabeth are women supporting women. I am honoured and overjoyed to host these inspirational sisters at our Moon Medicine special for St.Patricks Day. I hope you can join us”.

My mother was my first country, the first place I ever lived
— Nayyirah Waheed

On Monday January 17 at 7pm Irish time, The Trailblazery presents “The Art of Mothering ourselves, each other and this Earth we call home”, featuring Layla O’Mara, writer, acupuncturist, motherhood and matrescence guide.

Layla works with women navigating the rite of passage that is motherhood, helping them to shed what is not theirs to carry and to reclaim the skills, tools, competencies and sacred feminine energy that motherhood can engender. Her online platform NuaNua runs courses for mothers, helping them to navigate the rite of passage known as matrescence and to explore how we as mothers can have a catalysing role to play in the axis shift our planet is going through.

At Moon Medicine, Layla will share her story as a rising Irish voice in the world of Mothership and Motherhood and will lead us through a practice to support us in the art of mothering ourselves and eachother and connecting to Mother Earth.

Hosted by Kathy Scott, Founder of The Trailblazery, this very special online event will also feature music from Layla’s husband and partner, Brian Crosby, pianist, producer & film score composer. We are delighted to welcome Brian as our first male contributor to our Moon Medicine series.

If you can’t attend the call live, it will be recorded and the replay will be sent to you by email within 24 hours.

Kathy Scott, Founder and Creative Director of The Trailblazery shares:

“I am completely ‘over the moon’ to welcome Layla to our circle. We have moved in similar circles for many years, originally in the worlds of arts and culture and now in the women's wellbeing community in Ireland. In more recent years, we have forged a deeper sisterhood in the wilds of the Wicklow mountains. Layla is a force of nature and blends motherhood with the care-taking of mothers via NuaNua. She is a powerful creatrix, community leader, writer and wellness advocate. Beautifully aligned with our mission at Moon Medicine, Layla is a woman supporting women and it is a huge honour to host her and her husband Brian Crosby as our opening luminaries of 2022”.

About Layla O’Mara

Layla is a writer, five element acupuncturist and motherhood and matrescence guide. Layla also treats women on a body, mind and spirit level as an acupuncturist from a tranquil treatment space beside her home.

Layla has recently completed her first book, a memoir titled My Octopus Womb, which explores her motherhood journey as well as her relationship to her own womb (which she had removed earlier this year), the womb space as a collective energy and our connection with the more than human world in which we are all cradled.  Layla lives and works at the foot of the Wicklow mountains with her husband, composer Brian Crosby, and her three children.

After a decade of facilitating 200/300 hr yoga teacher trainings, Jana Roemer is devoted to training guides of the ancient practice of yoga nidra, as well as continuing to develop her own signature blend of astrology and yoga nidra, the Astro Nidras. She is a Libra Sun with a Virgo Stellium and written all over her chart are notes of being an orator, leader, gatherer of Souls and devoted Mystic. She's here to evoke transformation through Practices of Self Love.

As the October Hunter Full Moon approaches and the portal of Samhain in the Celtic Wheel of the Year beckons, you are invited to  meets us at the intersection of astrology, spirituality and meditation. Be prepared to settle in and go deep as Jana will lead one of her signature astro nidras for Scorpio season.

Kathy Scott, Founder and Creative Director of The Trailblazery shares:

“I am completely ‘over the moon’ to welcome Jana to our circle. I first discovered her through my teacher Elena Brower and am delighted to introduce her to our community. Jana is a source of inspiration and empowerment for thousands of women around the world. She is an incredible star gazer, mystic, teacher, writer, creatrix and rebellious provocateur who has so much to share especially in these times of transition. I LOVE her great work over at Attune to the Moon especially her Astro Nidras and am delighted that our paths are finally crossing”.

About Jana Roemer

Jana Roemer has come to devote her life to the practice of yoga, meditation, yoga nidra and astrology because these were the exact medicines she needed to remember. An overly critical, busy mind paralyzed her abilities at different times in her life, but through study and practice, she has experienced a complete rebirth of her mind space. After a decade of training yoga teachers through 200 & 300 hour trainings, Jana has devoted her service to training guides of the ancient practice of yoga nidra, as well as her own signature blend of astrology and yoga nidra, Astro Nidra. She is currently sitting deep into her studentship, learning more about Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy and practicing the art of non-judgemental self-observation as a pathway to stay sane in this rapidly changing world. She lives with her family in a quiet mountain and lake town in British Columbia, Canada. You can find her most often online at www.attunetothemoon.com where you'll find Astro Nidras and other daily practices aligned with the current planetary positions.

MEET OUR LUMINARIES:

About Angela Scanlon

Angela Scanlon is an Irish television presenter and broadcaster for RTÉ and the BBC. She presents Your Home Made Perfect on BBC2, a home renovation series using ground-breaking virtual reality technology to showcase two potential renovation solutions for a problem home. She is also a regular presenter on The One Show on BBC1 and part of the BBC Radio 2 family presenting her own show, “Angela Scanlon on Sunday”.

Angela’s first major documentary, OI GINGER, aired in 2014 on RTE to critical acclaim – the show trended worldwide on Twitter and showed off Angela’s playful presenting style and her ability to dig deep into a subject matter. The success of the show led to a follow-up series, Angela Scanlon: Full Frontal in 2015, where she tackled taboo subjects such as extreme makeovers, fitness and nudity. A further series followed Angela Scanlon’s Close Encounters, which saw her dive into the world of WWE with world champion Sheamus, head to NYC to chat books and babies with Dawn O’Porter and take on Katie Hopkins in a very honest and candid interview. From 2016 – 2018 she undertook her first role on a major British show as a co-host of Robot Wars with Dara O’Briain.

About Imelda May

Imelda May is an Irish singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Although known primarily as a singer, she also plays the bodhran, guitar, bass guitar and tambourine.

Born and raised in The Liberties area of Dublin, Imelda has become one of Ireland’s most famed female artists in history. Discovered by Jools Holland, who asked Imelda to go on tour with him, Imelda has gone on to perform duets with artists including U2, Lou Reed, Sinead O Connor, Robert Plant, Van Morrison, Jack Savoretti and Elvis Costello and has featured on recent albums and live tours with Jeff Beck, Jeff Goldblum and Ronnie Wood.

She formed her own band in 2002, and released her debut studio album, No Turning Back. Following an appearance on the BBC music programme Later... with Jools Holland in 2008, she released her second studio album, Love Tattoo (2009). Her third studio album, Mayhem, was released in 2010 and earned her a nomination for the Choice Music Prize. Her fourth studio album, Tribal came out in 2014 and her fifth, Life Love Flesh Blood, was released in 2017, She returned in 2020 with Slip of the Tongue, a musical spoken word EP issued by Universal. Derived from personal notebooks, it addressed topics including heartbreak, obsession, and isolation. At the end of the year, Imelda delivered the first new material from her sixth studio album with the track "11 Past the Hour." ‘11 Past The Hour’ is a record that brims with sensuality, emotional intelligence, spirituality and intuition, marking a new chapter for Imelda and showcasing her at her most authentic. With pals and collaborators like Wood, Gallagher and Miles Kane and inspired contributions from feminist thinkers and activists such as Gina Martin and Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu, the album is an invigorating statement of rock n’ low slung blues.

The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2021. This is an invitation for women who are ready to harness their inner power and reclaim their wild feminine nature. Our mission is to support women to rise and lift each other up along the way. Thank you for answering the call and walking this path with us.

On Wednesday, June 2nd at 7pm, the Moon Medicine online series hosts ‘Gather round me, women : Druidigí thart, a mhná’,

This virtual gathering is part of the Feminist Supermarket at Ormston House, kindly supported by the Arts Council of Ireland.

‘Gather round me, womenwill be led by Kathy Scott, (Creative Director of the Trailblazery), Ceara Conway (visual artist, vocalist) with guest luminaries Angela Bourke (writer, Irish language scholar) and Marian Dunlea (Jungian analyst, somatics practitioner). During our time together, we will explore the role of women and the use of lament and song in ritualising personal, local and global experiences of loss.

The ancient ritual of the Irish wake held another ritual at the centre known as Caoineadh or Keening - the Irish funeral lament. The word keening originates from the Gaelic caoineadh meaning “crying”. This was an Irish traditional vocal ritual artform, performed at the wake or graveside in mourning of the dead. The keening women (bean chaointe) paid respects to the deceased and expressed grief on behalf of the bereaved family. Keening was an integral part of the whole process of undertaking and was performed either at the wake, funeral procession or interment as sometimes during all three. It was a skilled ritual artform at the meeting point between life and death, and received due respect, including payment.

Ceara Conway: “In this new spiritual paradigm and post Covid era that we find ourselves in, what kinds of practices can we create to support our experiences of loss and community led grief? How do we prepare ourselves for our own death and dying? ‘’Gather round me, women’’ is an invitation to gather together to explore these questions through song, knowledge sharing and somatic practice".

Kathy Scott, Founder and Creative Director of The Trailblazery shares:

I am completely ‘over the moon’ to collaborate with Ceara and two of Ireland’s great female pioneers in their respective fields Angela Bourke and Marian Dunlea. The cycle of grief is an alchemical process that has the capacity to transform the trajectory of our lives as individuals and as a collective. Caoineadh is a lost art that once served as a ritual to help the soul travel from the world of the living into the spirit world—while also helping the living bereaved as they adjust to new realities, roles and relationships. When we explore the life cycle touchpoints in Irish folklore, we can see the importance of the Medicine Women in our ancestral past from the Bean Feasa, to the Bean Ghlúine and Bean Chaointe. Moon Medicine is a circle that exists to encourage and inspire women to reclaim this power today”.
