Moon Medicine Gathering | The Codes of the Creatrix

- a virtual Moon Medicine Gathering for women on June 05

For me, the essence of a witch is someone who trusts their inner authority and uses their own personal magic to navigate and negotiate the environment they currently find themselves in.

As the great world spins and we begin to stir from our cocoons - what wants to emerge? At The Trailblazery, we are expanding our online mission so that we can mind each other and share ideas, resources and practices with all of our communities at this time. We have had amazing women join us from over the world for our online Moon Medicine gatherings. This is an amazing circle that just keeps on giving.

As women and sisters, as mothers, daughters and granddaughters - this is the time to celebrate our feminine creative life force, awaken our Shakti and midwife a future that serves all beings. Are you ready for The Codes of The Creatrix?

GUEST LUMINARIES JUNE 05 - LISA LISTER + IMELDA MAY

This is the time to unlock and embody the Codes of the Creatrix with Lisa Lister,  author of Code Red, Love Your Lady Landscape + Witch. Crowned ‘the defender of female awesomeness’ by Cooler magazine, Lisa offers support, safe space, guidance, cyclic maps and counsel to women who are exploring, navigating and wanting to heal their relationship with their body, power, pleasure + passion in these 'interesting' times....

Our next Moon Medicine Live Gathering takes place on ZOOM on June 05 at 7.00pm (Irish Summer Time/GMT+1 - Find Your Timezome) and is open to women from all over the world. 'The Codes of the Creatrix' will be hosted by Kathy Scott {The Trailblazery} and a very special guest luminary Lisa Lister {Author, Artist Menstrual mistress, creatrix, channel and illustrator of SHE art + the SASSY SHE Oracle decks.} and Imelda May {Poet, singer, songwriter}. “I am completely ‘over the moon‘ to welcome Lisa to our circle. When I got my hands on her book Witch it rocked my universe. She is a modern day Medicine Woman in every since of the word. She assists women in remembering and returning home to their full power, owning their cycles and celebrating their womanhood in all it’s glory. Her lineage is Romany Gypsy + Irish Traveler and she was due to be here with us in Ireland (this has now been pencilled into ' the future' ). Lisa will be with us online for the forthcoming lunar eclipse on June 05 for some witchy vibes. Join us and tell your sisters.”

At Moon Medicine we are here to empower and elevate women from all walks of life. Everyone is welcome. We will open space for you to share whatever is emerging and together we will explore how we can be of service to ourselves and each other in these challenging times.

About Moon Medicine

Moon Medicine was initiated by The Trailblazery {Census of the Heart, We Need to Talk About Ireland, Rites of Passage} in 2018 in the light of Repeal and the rising momentum of women worldwide speaking out, stepping up and reclaiming their power. Our mission is to help women to remember, embody and reclaim their authentic powerful selves so that together we can rise and lift each other up along the way. In 2019 the Moon Medicine Global Academy was launched - a year-long online training programme for women which expanded our Moon Medicine circle to include women all over the world.

Our live Moon Medicine gatherings weave together a range of feminine teachings blending ancient wisdom with cutting edge developments in the fields of epigenetics, quantum physics and neuroscience. We explore the gifts of the lunar cycle as a map of empowerment for women’s wellbeing. We draw from a deep well to find practices and resources that support women’s self care and the care of this place we call home. To find out more visit TheTrailblazery.com

Meet our June Guest Luminary

About LIsa:

Lisa Lister is a published author who invites women to remember, reconnect with, reclaim and revere the fiercely feminine power that lies between their thighs. She helps women to learn super-practical ways to understand their hormones, fertility and how to care for ‘down there’’ and how to celebrate and honour their goddess-given nature through ritual, movement, rites and sacred ceremony. Everything she shares is a personal invitation for women to re-member that they are already whole.

In her own words:
I’m also a woman who is exploring it all, messing up + figuring it out.
The good, the crazy, the WTactualF, the sad, the dark, the bloody glorious + all the many trillions of variations of what it means to ‘be a woman’.
THIS Woman.
Knowing that how it is for me, will be different from how it is for you, but recognising that there will be themes + threads + that, let’s face it, IT’S ALL SACRED AF.
So it ‘should’ go without saying, but just in case it doesn’t, there is NO judgement, only fierce love + compassion.
I’ve been doing this for over 16+ years - blood, power, vaginas, wombs, blame, shame, vulvas, magic, the whole SHE-bang - There is NOTHING you can say or share that will freak me out or that is TMI. Also, I’m a Scorpio so death, sex + rebirth and all the so-called taboos that lie in between are actually comfy territory for me. I mean you don’t HAVE to bring any of those things to session/workshops/immersions, but please know that you can

About Imelda:

Imelda has never been afraid to be outspoken and poetry is a natural outlet for this multi-faceted artist. At last year’s Latitude Festival, she premiered an exclusive performance and immersive art piece entitled ‘Hallowed’. Within an illuminated cube in Latitude’s secluded woodland, Imelda welcomed participants inside a sensory space to watch her write and observe her creative process both within and ‘on’ a fractured glass walled environment. “Art in all its forms should never get comfortable”, says Imelda.

Born and raised in The Liberties area of Dublin, Imelda has become one of Ireland’s most famed female artists in history. Discovered by Jools Holland, who asked Imelda to support him on tour, Imelda has gone on to perform alongside artists including Lou Reed, Smokey Robinson, Jeff Beck and Jack Savoretti and has recently featured on Hollywood legend Jeff Goldblum and music icon Ronnie Wood’s albums & live shows.

She recently announced the release of her first ever poetry EP, 'Slip Of The Tongue' which will be released on 12 June. Tackling issues such as obsession, heartbreak, Covid isolation and love.

In her own words:

I constantly write. Writing pads are filled, backs of envelopes, scraps of paper are scribbled on and scattered around me in between books, trinkets and photos. Melodies swirl in my head. Footsteps become the rhythm to a song. But often words don't feel like they need anything more than to be spoken aloud or read alone. They just feel good as they are. But I still hear music. It evokes such strong emotion. So I decided to combine my two loves. I think they dance beautifully. I hope you agree.

In light of Repeal and the rising momentum of women worldwide speaking out, stepping up and reclaiming their power, this is a special opportunity to rediscover and celebrate your own creative feminine life force. Hosted by Kathy Scott {Creative Director of The Trailblazery} - this series of monthly mystery gatherings will illuminate the magical gifts of the Moon at special locations around the city of Dublin as 2020 unfolds. Moon Medicine is an opportunity to tune into the gifts of the Lunar Cycle and meet a host of inspiring trailblazing women along the way.

Testimonials:

Kathy Scott has been traveling the world as a passionate student and brave pioneer of practices that bring people into intimate contact with their creativity and power. As a teacher, she beautifully weaves together all that she has gathered into a rich and generous offering. This is a deeply nourishing and powerful brew, especially for women

Annie Ryan, Artistic Director Corn Exchange

Kathy Scott creates an utterly transcendent yoga experience.  I attended her recent Rising Feminine Medicine Yoga Programme and it exceeded any expectations that I might have had on a mental, emotional, energetic and deeply feminine level.  Her classes are packed full of wisdom, kindness, practical yoga asanas and meditative exercises that flowed off the mat with me and seamlessly threaded into my days for the rest of the week.  Kathy elegantly weaves a powerful depth and breath of experience into all of her classes. Such a restorative weekly tonic.  I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Nadine McCarthy Performance Consultant

Kathy Scott blazes a new and exciting trail using yoga as a way of expressing her higher purpose in this life. She has the powerful ability to align with Source in a way that allows this magnificent energy to flow in her, for her and through her. This invariably enables you to reach into the very core of your own being accessing the Divine feminine power that lies deep within you.
