The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2025. As we navigate global uncertainty, The Trailblazery hosts a curated series of nourishing online experiences for women who need inspiration, encouragement and connection in these initiatory times.

We have taken your feedback to heart and are delighted to share that we’ve adjusted the drop-in price for Moon Medicine Live to €27, making it more accessible for those who wish to join us. In this spirit, we have also made 3 free tickets available for those who need them. In service of those in greater need, if you are in a position to pay the ticket price, we kindly ask that you do not avail yourself of these free spots.

You are invited to gather online on Monday February 10 at 7pm for a special Moon Medicine gathering, entitled “"Snake Medicine - shedding and grounding”.

Our guest luminary for the evening will be Nadiya Peters, Taoist Meditation and Energy Medicine Teacher, Healer and Elder.

Nadiya is passionate about guiding others toward inner sanctuary through Qigong, Daoist Energy Medicine, and Celtic Wisdom. With over 30 years of teaching experience, she shares a gentler way to nurture the body and ancestral connections, blending deep insight with playfulness. A former rock-and-roll and fashion industry insider turned healer, she now teaches in Ireland, New York, and Paris, weaving together meditation, movement, and ancient wisdom.

In the Chinese lunar calendar this is the Year of the Snake. The Snake is a symbol of transformation and healing. This is a time to shed what no longer serves.

This February Full Moon is also known as a Snow Moon and will shine at peak illumination on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

This Full Moon falls in the archetypal sign of Leo which burns bright, full of passion and creativity. This royal sign calls on us to live from our courageous heart of hearts.

As the great Wheel of the Year turns we are in the season of Imbolc. Guided by Triple Goddess Bridget the fiery arrow and keeper of the Flame. We feel the quickening energies, pregnant with possibility in the landscape and in our lives.

This online event will be hosted by Kathy Scott, Founder of Moon Medicine & The Trailblazery.

Note: If you can’t attend the call live, it will be recorded and sent to you by email within 24 hours.

Kathy Scott shares:

“I am over the moon to invite Nadiya to our first Moon Medicine gathering of 2025.

She has been a great friend and mentor to me in New York and now over the mountains here in Wicklow, Ireland. She is a Wise Woman, a Weaver of many Wisdom traditions and a great Keeper of the Flame. It is a great honour to host Nadiya at our Moon Medicine Circle. Join us and tell your sisters.”

About Nadiya

Nadiya Peters is an Elder Wise-woman who found her way both in and out of the wilds of the worlds of rock and roll and the fashion industry in New York City in the 1980s. A daughter of Dublin, Nadiya has returned to live in Ireland after 40 years in America, with her medicine bag and great love of this land. Following a crash to Earth after her early years of the ‘high life’ she found meditation, yoga and her most beloved path: Qigong and Daoist Energy Medicine. Now in her sixth decade, Nadiya’s passion is to share a gentler way to nurture ourselves back to an inner sanctuary, through a view of our physical bodies and the body of the ancestry which we belong to. Nadiya’s over-arching style of teaching is playful, yet she imparts a depth which comes from her desire to cut through old, redundant untruths which may be hanging around our heads. She is a feminist, an animal lover, a hiker. A former smoker who prays with tobacco instead.

Nadiya will share some of the extraordinary alignments between Daoism and Celtic Wisdom, little gems of which are keys to the locks and doorways we already possess. In this Year of the Snake, we literally bring back our wise, snake-y medicine with the lovely practices and mediation which Nadiya shares.

She is certified by Master Robert Peng, Master Liu He, Dr. Liu Dong and other world renowned teachers.  She continues to host workshops in New York, Paris and now back in Ireland, where her heart sings. Nadiya shares her 30+ years of teaching experience with joy and a bit of wry humour. She is a published short story writer and she is currently writing an historical novel about her personal ancestry to be published in late 2025.

About Moon Medicine

Moon Medicine was initiated by The Trailblazery {Hedge School, Census of the Heart, We Need to Talk About Ireland, Rites of Passage} in 2018 in the light of Repeal and the rising momentum of women worldwide speaking out, stepping up and reclaiming their power. Our mission is to help women to remember, embody and reclaim their authentic powerful selves so that together we can rise and lift each other up along the way. In 2019 the Moon Medicine Global Academy was launched - a year-long online training programme for women which expanded our Moon Medicine circle to include women all over the world.

Our live Moon Medicine gatherings weave together a range of feminine teachings blending ancient wisdom with cutting edge developments in the fields of epigenetics, quantum physics and neuroscience. We explore the gifts of the lunar cycle as a map of empowerment for women’s wellbeing. We draw from a deep well to find practices and resources that support women’s self care and the care of this place we call home. To find out more visit TheTrailblazery.com

You will be sent your zoom link on booking your spot for the gathering. Please keep it safe as you will need it to join the event.

Kathy Scott creates an utterly transcendent yoga experience.  I attended her recent Rising Feminine Medicine Yoga Programme and it exceeded any expectations that I might have had on a mental, emotional, energetic and deeply feminine level.  Her classes are packed full of wisdom, kindness, practical yoga asanas and meditative exercises that flowed off the mat with me and seamlessly threaded into my days for the rest of the week.  Kathy elegantly weaves a powerful depth and breath of experience into all of her classes. Such a restorative weekly tonic.  I couldn't recommend her more highly.
