Meet our January Guest Luminaries

About Karen: Karen's love of spirituality brought her into astrology in the early 1990s. Aside from working with clients on a daily basis, she co-founded the Dublin Astrological Centre in 1996 and co-produced an astrological journal, The Dublin Astrologer. In 2011 she opened the Blue Rose School of Astrology, an esoteric, mystery school that has students from all over the world attending both in person in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin, online, in Copenhagen, Utrecht and Gozo. She is the co-creator, with her close friend cranio-sacral therapist, Jeane Ryan, of a woman's retreat immersion in the South of France teaching the path of love as walked by Yesuah and Mary Magdalene, inspired by her spiritual teacher and friend, Danish mystic, Lars Muhl. Walking on the beach, sitting in daily silent meditation, engaging in her yoga practise and spending time with her two daughters and grand-son are amongst the activities that draw her awareness when she is not engaged in astrological practice.

About Chloe : Chloe McHugh (Sonas Therapy) is a certified sound therapy practitioner, facilitating sound-bath meditations for groups and individual sound-massage therapy. From an early age Chloe’s inquisitive nature took her dipping and diving into many cultures, learning about ancient traditions, practices and beliefs. She found that across cultures and time, the practice of using sound in ceremony, celebration, meditation and medicine is common around the world; including tribal drumming, song, chanting, mantra and vibrational healing.

Chloe has trained professionally as a practitioner of sound-massage therapy and facilitator of sound-bath meditations at the Peter Hess Institut (PHI). The PHI, in association with the School of Applied Sciences at Steinbeis University, Berlin, are world leaders in professional training and research into the application of sound and vibration on the human body and mind. Later whilst in Nepal, Chloe trained under the guidance of traditional sound healers at the Golden Temple Healing Centre, learning about the ancient eastern methods of working with sound in ayurvedic medicine, studying the use of sound and vibration in balancing Qi (energy). Chloe is also currently a student of the ancient Indian practice of Kirtan, the powerful integration of chanting and song with meditation.

Kathy Scott has been traveling the world as a passionate student and brave pioneer of practices that bring people into intimate contact with their creativity and power. As a teacher, she beautifully weaves together all that she has gathered into a rich and generous offering. This is a deeply nourishing and powerful brew, especially for women

Annie Ryan, Artistic Director Corn Exchange

Kathy Scott creates an utterly transcendent yoga experience.  I attended her recent Rising Feminine Medicine Yoga Programme and it exceeded any expectations that I might have had on a mental, emotional, energetic and deeply feminine level.  Her classes are packed full of wisdom, kindness, practical yoga asanas and meditative exercises that flowed off the mat with me and seamlessly threaded into my days for the rest of the week.  Kathy elegantly weaves a powerful depth and breath of experience into all of her classes. Such a restorative weekly tonic.  I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Nadine McCarthy Performance Consultant

Kathy Scott blazes a new and exciting trail using yoga as a way of expressing her higher purpose in this life. She has the powerful ability to align with Source in a way that allows this magnificent energy to flow in her, for her and through her. This invariably enables you to reach into the very core of your own being accessing the Divine feminine power that lies deep within you.
