The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2023. As we navigate global uncertainty, we host a series of curated online experiences for women who need inspiration, encouragement and connection in the times ahead.
On Monday May 29 at 7pm Irish time (2pm EST/11am PST), The Trailblazery Presents “The Fruits of our Labour” featuring midwife, keener and author Sarah Richardson.
As a teacher, spiritual healer and midwife, Sarah is devoted to heal and support women through all thresholds, be they spiritual or life’s rites of passage. Her book ‘Woman‘ is in line with her mission and helps guide women towards freeing themselves fully, to live the most incredible life they could ever imagine.
The Full Moon of June is named the Strawberry Moon because it marks the ripening of wild strawberries that are ready to be gathered. According to The Old Farmer’s Almanac, the Algonquin, Ojibwe, Dakota, and Lakota peoples, among others, call this lunation the Strawberry Moon because it rises around the same time the berries are in harvest.
This summer moon reminds us that when we care, nourish and put energy into those seeds we planted earlier in the year, they will flourish. The Strawberry Full Moon marks a time to bring our mid-year goals to fruition and enjoy the fruits of our labour.
This special online event will be hosted by Kathy Scott, Founder & Creative Director of The Trailblazery, and will also feature Irish musician Jenny Ní Ruiséil.
Note: If you can’t attend the call live, it will be recorded and sent to you by email within 24 hours.
Kathy Scott, Founder and Creative Director of The Trailblazery shares:
“I am completely over the moon to welcome Sarah to our circle. We found each other on the gram. Our stars continued to cross and align and I was delighted to get my hands on a copy of her beautiful book ‘Woman - a guide to living your best life by setting yourself free and coming home to your true nature’ waiting for me at home when I recently returned from my travels. Sarah is a Midwife & Keener - Bean Ghlúine & Bean Chaointe as Ghaeilge. Her work is rooted in the ancient Irish tradition of the Bean Feasa - The ‘Wise Woman’ of the village. She is a great force of nature and I am thrilled to invite her to share her teachings on feminine leadership in the birth of the new earth.
Jenny Ní Ruiséil is a stunning musician, teacher & writer also bringing her gifts through as Ghaeilge and I have been delighted and inspired by her for many years. Sarah’s and Jenny’s gifts are beautifully aligned with our mission at Moon Medicine, so I am delighted to host them both at our next gathering - I can’t wait for you all to deep dive into this territory with us under this Sagittarius moon.”

About Jenny
Jenny Ní Ruiséil is an Irish musician, yoga teacher and mentor who teaches and practices traditional tantric hatha yoga. She is also an avid gaeilgeoir and has been involved with various musical endeavours through both Irish and English over the past 13 years, most notably her work with the Irish college-based language group TGLurgan. Since returning to Ireland in 2020, Jenny has been weaving traditional vedic teachings of Sanskrit mantra and Bhakti yoga with the Irish language through song and an ever-deepening connection with the elements. Her music reflects a deeply rooted love for the philosophical teachings of yoga, the land and roots of a heart connection to Irish soil, and the creative, patient and curious nature that only a life lived speaking and exploring the hidden truths in ancient sounds, notes and words can bring. The result is a life lived in service to the heart and inner worlds accessed through meditation, song and mantra.

About Moon Medicine
Moon Medicine was initiated by The Trailblazery {Hedge School, Census of the Heart, We Need to Talk About Ireland, Rites of Passage} in 2018 in the light of Repeal and the rising momentum of women worldwide speaking out, stepping up and reclaiming their power. Our mission is to help women to remember, embody and reclaim their authentic powerful selves so that together we can rise and lift each other up along the way. In 2019 the Moon Medicine Global Academy was launched - a year-long online training programme for women which expanded our Moon Medicine circle to include women all over the world.
Our live Moon Medicine gatherings weave together a range of feminine teachings blending ancient wisdom with cutting edge developments in the fields of epigenetics, quantum physics and neuroscience. We explore the gifts of the lunar cycle as a map of empowerment for women’s wellbeing. We draw from a deep well to find practices and resources that support women’s self care and the care of this place we call home. To find out more visit TheTrailblazery.com

Kathy Scott creates an utterly transcendent yoga experience. I attended her recent Rising Feminine Medicine Yoga Programme and it exceeded any expectations that I might have had on a mental, emotional, energetic and deeply feminine level. Her classes are packed full of wisdom, kindness, practical yoga asanas and meditative exercises that flowed off the mat with me and seamlessly threaded into my days for the rest of the week. Kathy elegantly weaves a powerful depth and breath of experience into all of her classes. Such a restorative weekly tonic. I couldn't recommend her more highly.
